The World of Optometry organization was initiated by two young Optometrists from Brazil and Malaysia named Cynara Silva and Sheyva Sigamoney. Both of them runs an educational account on Instagram called @optocynara and @eyereadeyeballs. The idea of creating this organization was initiated and executed by both of them.
The membership to this organization is open to Optometry professionals including students all around the world regardless of country of origin, background, age and positions. The members of this group voluntarily will be contributing effort and time to be involved in The World of Optometry’s various programmes and projects.
